Day 112: God the Father – Merciful Redeemer

Scripture: The Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love… (Exodus 34:6-7).

Reflection:

God describes Himself with one word first: merciful.

He knows your failures but loves you still.

He sees your past but writes redemption over it.

Ephesians 1:7 reminds us that we have redemption through Christ’s blood not through effort, guilt, or performance.

Mercy received should produce mercy given.

Who needs your forgiveness today?

Who are you holding hostage in your heart?

Let go because God let go of your debt first.

Earnestly pursuing God means showing the mercy you have been drenched in.

Today’s Challenge:

Forgive someone today even if they don’t deserve it. Jesus did the same for us.

Prayer:

Father, Your mercy overwhelms me. Help me show that mercy to others. Guide my pursuit with compassion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
