Day 100: God the Father – Sovereign Creator

Scripture: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).

Reflection:

Genesis 1:1 isn’t just an opening line; it is the thunderclap that shatters every lie of self-sufficiency. Before you ever drew breath, before your problems existed, before sin entered the world, God was already ruling, creating, sustaining, speaking galaxies into being with a whisper.

Psalm 89:11 declares, “The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours.”

Not ours. Not the world’s. His.

Every sunrise is a sermon. Every star is a proclamation. Every sparrow is a reminder: the God you seek is the God who made it all.

So why do tiny anxieties overthrow your peace?

Why do small distractions push aside a God so vast?

Why do we live like He is manageable … instead of majestic?

If creation shouts His glory, then seeking God must start with awe. Lift your eyes. Let creation stir your hunger. Let wonder burn complacency out of your chest.

Chasing God means worshiping the Almighty, trusting that His sovereign power eclipses every fear that tries to weaken your pursuit.

Pause—right now—and praise God for five specific things in creation that remind you of His greatness.

Prayer:

Father, Your creation thunders with majesty. Open my eyes to see Your glory everywhere. Break my distractions. Stir my awe. I praise You as Creator of all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
