Day 91: God’s Heart for the Abused

Scripture: …he has anointed me… to set at liberty those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18).

Reflection:
RIGHT NOW — someone is bleeding from abuse, and JESUS CAME FOR THEM.

Luke 4:18 is Jesus reading Isaiah 61:1 in the synagogue, declaring His mission: good news to the poor, freedom for prisoners, sight for the blind, liberty for the oppressed. “Oppressed” means crushed—physically beaten, emotionally shattered, spiritually silenced. God doesn’t ignore bruises; He heals them.

Your silence? Complicity.

Name one hurting soul (victim of violence, trafficking, bullying). Pray fire. Act mercy.

Compassion isn’t optional … it’s the mission.

Today’s Challenge:

  1. Pray bold for the broken … name them.
  2. Help one … call, give, hug, fight.

Prayer: Father, break chains like You broke hell. I join Your rescue. No excuses. I seek the Oppressed-Healer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
